Neighbours has aired a potentially fatal collision in its epic 2024 season finale.
Christmas came early on Ramsay Street ahead of a two week break for the Amazon Prime Video soap, and it was an eventful time for the residents!
The drama kicked off at No. 24 when Trevor the dog ran off with the turkey, leaving Nicolette Stone (Hannah Monson), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) Jane Harris (Annie Jones), Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux), Sadie Rodwell (Emerald Chan) and Holly Hoyland (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall) without lunch.
Luckily, Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) rushed to their rescue and offered them a place around his table at the penthouse.
Phew!
The celebrations were already underway, as Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) got down on one knee and proposed to girlfriend Krista Sinclair (Majella Davis). The two have gone through a rocky patch of late following the arrival of her ex-best friend Seb Metcalfe (Rarmian Newton).
Throwing a spanner in the works, the newbie revealed he was hooked on drugs and needed money to pay off loan sharks.
Krista dealt him a troubling ultimatum earlier in the week – she could help him get sober, or he could take £20k and never contact her again.
To her surprise and devastation, he took the second option.
He’s secretly been hiding away in an empty unit on Power Road, with only Dex Varga-Murphy (Marley Williams) knowing his whereabouts.
Elsewhere, Dex and the rest of his family were preparing to jet off to New York for a holiday of a lifetime.
As they arrived at the airport, the floor fell from beneath Cara’s (Sara West) feet when she spotted her sister Chelsea (Viva Bianca) – who Paul had a fling with earlier in the year – and she’s heavily pregnant!
We’re sure that there’ll be fireworks in 2025…
Holly returned home, and was shocked to see a present from her twisted ex-boyfriend Heath Royce (Ethan Panizza) had arrived at No. 28. There’s just one catch – he was mauled by a crocodile earlier in the year!
As viewers of the Australian soap know, Heath’s estranged sister Yaz Shields (Chrishell Stause) has been manipulating her vulnerabilities in a shocking revenge plot.
Across the road, Vera Punt (Sally Anne Upton) faced the prospect of spending the festive season alone, with Max Ramsay (Ben Jackson) rushing to her rescue and promising to grab them both a Grease Monkeys takeaway as a compromise.
On his journey towards the burger joint, he ran into Byron and Sadie when a car appeared out of nowhere and hurtled towards Seb.
The vehicle knocked Max, Sadie and Seb to the ground… and we’re now left wondering who will survive!
Unfortunately, it won’t be until 6th January that we find out, and fans are already crying out for the show’s return!
