Neighbours Bombshell: Explosive Kiss Rocks Ramsay Street as Beloved Character Bids Farewell!

Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) lashes out at Nell Rebecchi (Ayisha Salem-Towner) in Neighbours next week as a mysterious new face makes their presence known.
It’s been a whole year since his son David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) passed away, and the resurgence of grief becomes too much to bare. But are his suspicions about Nell’s behaviour proving accurate?
David’s twin Leo (Tim Kano) is also going through a rough patch, and soon realises that Seb Metcalfe (Rarmian Newton) isn’t going anywhere and is about to up his Machiavellian tactics to get his hands on bestie Krista Sinclair (Majella Davis).
Elsewhere on the Amazon Prime Video soap, JJ and Dex Varga-Murphy (Riley Bryant and Marley Williams) return from New York and attempt to conceal the identity of a stranger from Andrew Rodwell (Lloyd Will).
One resident departs Ramsay Street and instantly ruffles feathers in their new home, whilst Jane Harris (Annie Jones) is forced to confront her feelings for new fella Clint (Jason Wilder).
Plus, as we dive into the real reason Max Ramsay (Ben Jackson) returned to his family’s roots, a promising new relationship could be on the cards with one local.
For all the hottest goss from Erinsborough, I’m your man! Here’s Metro‘s guide to next week’s Neighbours…
Monday, January 27
Andrew is about to catch the mystery intruder in the sun room, but is disrupted by Dex and JJ arriving home from New York. They’re thrilled to have him staying with them, and also to reunite with Nell.
Everything changes when they stumble across their Uncle Taye (Lakota Johnson), Remi’s (Naomi Rukavina) brother. He explains that he’s escaped Apollo Bay and made his way to Ramsay Street, knowing that it was empty.
The boys convince Andrew to let them look after themselves – and keep Taye’s presence a secret. Dex is overjoyed, but JJ is nervous by his mischievous energy.
Across the road, despite Paul’s efforts to defrost the atmosphere, Nell remains standoffish with him. When he learns that JJ’s return will be keeping her distracted, he hopes that he can finally get some alone time with Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou).

The anniversary of David’s death is looming over him, and he’s upset. Unfortunately, she turns down his advances and sends him packing to ensure that her house continues to be a safe space for Nell.
Paul agrees to leave, but notices one of Nell’s sketches of the Rebecchi clan from when Terese was married to Toadie (Ryan Moloney).
Later, Terese apologises after realising Nell overheard her earlier conversation with Paul.
She’s surprised when Nell presents her with her old pair of tracksuit trousers that she found at the Foundation and brought home, prompting them to have a movie night and rediscover their bond.
When Terese tells Paul about the trackies, he’s concerned that the youngster is attempting to drive a wedge between them and decides to confront her with a cold warning.
Elsewhere, to her housemates’ surprise, Vera (Sally-Anne Upton) has decided to move to Eirini Rising. Sadie (Emerald Chan) offers to accompany her on a tour around the complex and after some financing information from Terese, she signs on the dotted line.
In true Vera style, she soon ruffles the feathers of the other residents and is labelled a gossip and a troublemaker.
Uh-oh!
Tuesday, January 28
JJ and Dex are back at school and are surprised when Taye sends them a selfie from a mini-golf course he’s set up in their living room. Fearful that Andrew will discover him, they head home on their lunch break to make a surprise visit.
The house is a mess – and Taye is nowhere to be seen. They track him down to The Waterhole and he seems totally unbothered by JJ’s concern.

Nell notices the lads with a stranger and is confused, and they’re forced to explain their uncle’s backstory. Taye and Remi have a difficult relationship since their dad left Remi’s mum to be with Taye’s.
Later, Dex returns from E High and Taye offers him a beer. Wanting to seem cool, he knocks back the alcohol.
Elsewhere, Jane reveals to Aaron (Matt Wilson) that she’s considering cancelling her second date with Clint. He eggs her on and she changes her mind, with the prospective new couple enjoying their time together.
Byron spots them and is invited to join, despite Jane’s wariness. She’s glad when the two seem to get along and Clint gets the seal of approval.
She then has a brief flirtatious moment with Taye, much to Byron’s (Xavier Molyneux) hilarity, amused by how much of a catch his mum is with younger men.
Back at work, she’s brought back down to earth when she has to clean the school toilets and then hurries off to meet the new cleaner. To her horror, it’s Clint!

Having heard about Nell’s run-in with Paul, a furious Terese confronts him. He insists that she’s forming a plan to break them up, but she disagrees and says that he should’ve expressed his concerns with her instead.
During a heart to heart, Aaron reckons that his annoyance has nothing to do with Nell – he’s purely trying to take his mind off David’s death. Paul can’t deny it.
Realising that he overstepped the mark, he apologises to Terese and she is understanding. Whilst Nell puts on a brave face, she then tells. JJ that Paul is the last person she wants her step-mum to be with.
Wednesday, January 29
Jane feels awkward about being Clint’s new boss and consults Aaron and Nicolette (Hannah Monson) over the predicament. They wonder whether her issue is really about being in charge, or whether his lower-status occupation is an embarrassment to her.
She’s adamant that isn’t the case, but the next day decides to break up with him and to put him on a night shift so that they won’t see one another.

To her surprise, Terese visits and says that Clint is also going to be working mornings at Eirini Rising! When he removes his shirt while cleaning, she becomes quickly flustered and realises that walking away from him could be very difficult.
On Ramsay Street, Nicolette brings Holly (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall) some cupcakes, still guilt-ridden over the Yaz situation.
Holly is open to some company, but Nic is concerned that the discussion could soon turn awkward and she abruptly leaves with no explanation. Feeling lonely and now jobless, she decides to stay overnight at the sharehouse.
The next morning, she wakes up to see Max – wearing nothing but a towel -hurrying through the kitchen to get his jeans off the line. When he accidentally exposes himself, the two are in hysterics.
She offers to help him get in order, leading to a charged moment between them both.
Is this the start of something special?
Later, she realises that his injuries from the electricity accident will hinder his work and offers to give him a spare pair of hands. It’ll also help her get her mind off Yaz.

Elsewhere, Leo encourages Seb to consider uni prospects in Sydney after his sacking from Harolds, but tensions soon rise when he sets his sights on a Lassiters job.
He also has suspicions that Leo convinced Nicolette to fire him, but Krista struggles to believe his idea.
With David’s anniversary soon approaching, Leo reflects on how he’s handled his grief. With Aaron, Nicolette and Krista, the foursome brainstorms ways that they can remember him, with Seb chipping in an idea of volunteering at the Erinsborough Food Bank
Thursday, January 30
David’s family gather at the Food Bank to volunteer. When Leo crosses paths with Seb, he tells him that he knows his game. Seb is smug, and is satisfied that he’s winning.

Paul fails to appear at the event, with Terese discovering him home alone and blaming himself for David’s death. Terese encourages him to spend the day with the rest of his clan so that they can remember his son in a meaningful way.
The next day, Krista is determined to overcome the rock in her road with Leo, but Seb insists that her fiancé is toxic and no good for her. In the moment, he surprises her with a passionate kiss!

On Power Road, things get off to a good start for Holly at the garage. Her good work ethic allows Max to see her in a new light.
When some tough looking fellas pull up in a car with Queensland registration plates, he instantly freaks out and decides to close for the day. As a result, he’s forced to admit that he came to Erinsborough to escape a dangerous situation in Brisbane.
Holly agrees to keep his secret, and their bond is further strengthened.
