Neighbors shock: New member appears to change the fate of Remi and Taye
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours‘ Remi Varga-Murphy will receive a shock in upcoming scenes when another family member unexpectedly arrives.
Remi recently agreed to let her brother Taye stay with her in Erinsborough for a while, after he turned up unannounced.
However, the pair have struggled to get along as Taye seems to be under the impression that Remi disapproves of him.
In upcoming scenes, Remi demands to know how long Taye is planning to stay in
Erinsborough for, but he gets irritated and fires back that he doesn’t owe her an itinerary.
The pair continue to argue as their father Ken, who is played by newcomer Charles Allen, unexpectedly shows up to take Taye home to Apollo Bay.
Taye refuses to go with his father and insists that he’s staying in Erinsborough, before admitting to Remi that he admires the life she has made for herself and he wants to be a part of it.
Remi is taken aback and asks her brother why he didn’t explain this to her earlier, to which Taye says it’s because Remi’s has always made it clear that she doesn’t want anything to do with him.
As Remi argues that this has never been the case, the pair suddenly realise that Ken has been the one keeping them apart all these years.
After an argument with their father, Taye and Remi decide to give living together a go. Can they mend their relationship?
