Neighbours star has barely aged a day as he appears on This Morning 23 years after he quit the Aussie soap

NEIGHBOURS fans have felt their hearts fluttering all over again – 23 years after this hunky actor left the Australian soap.

Dan Paris, 51, surprised viewers with an appearance on This Morning and he has barely aged a day in the last two decades.

The actor played Drew Kirk in the late 90s and early noughties and fans have gone wild for his return to the small screen.

Dan appeared on the ITV daytime show to talk about the Neighbours 40th Anniversary Tour, which is in the UK this month.

He is joined by a host of past and present Neighbours stars in the stage show, including his former on-screen wife Kym Valentine, who played Libby.

Dan admitted that he is enjoying being on this side of the world, as Aussie fans are ‘not fussed’ by him anymore.

He told This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard: “It was twenty three years ago I left the show and no one cares who I am back in Australia!”

Speaking about reuniting with Kym, aka Libby, he added: “I’ve reconnected with Kym – Libby – beautifully.

“It’s like a long lost sister relationship. I think we have a lovely future together as friends.

“It’s been wonderful hanging out with them all the past few days.”

Fans went wild after tuning in to This Morning and seeing the hunk from the past on the sofa.

Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one said: “He has aged well. Still a good-looking f***er! #Neighbours.”

Another added: “The fella who played Drew has aged well, aint he.”

And a third gushed: “Fantastic seeing Neighbours royalty on @thismorning just now.”

Dan and Kym are on tour with current cast members Majella Davis (Krista Sinclair), Rebekah Elmaloglou (Terese Willis), Lucinda Cowden (Melanie Pearson) and Tim Kano (Leo Tanaka).

He was joined on This Morning by Majella and Lucinda and hinted at a return to the Australian soap, which was rebooted in 2023 after being axed in 2022.

Dan’s character Drew, however, is dead.

His character first appeared in Neighbours in 1998 and worked at the local garage.

Drew soon fell for Libby and they eventually got married and had a child together, a son called Ben.

But fans were left devastated in 2002 when Dan’s character was killed off in a horrifying horse-riding accident.

He died from internal injuries in hospital and fans will remember Libby singing Wild Mountain Thyme at his funeral.

Drew did, however, make a brief return to Neighbours to warn his friend Stephanie Scully (played by Carla Bonner) that her breast cancer was active in several dreams.

Speaking of another comeback, Lucinda looked at Dan and said on This Morning: “There could be a wedding. Somebody could be making an appearance.”

Host Cat pointed out that ‘it could be done’, as Drew had already returned to Neighbours in dream scenes following his death.

Refusing to give anything away, Dan said: “I’d love to go back.

“Working with these guys the last few weeks, I’ve had a ball.”
