A hurt Leo fronts up to Krista, questioning why she kept Sebastian’s kiss secret and wanting to read the letter Sebastian gave to her. Krista urges Leo to understand the kiss was one-sided on Sebastian’s behalf. She adds that the details of the letter are to do with his rehabilitation and therefore private to her, but Leo struggles to forgive Krista for keeping the incident from him.
Leo worries that the tumultuous effect Sebastian has continued to have on their relationship means the pair may be rushing into marriage, but Krista pleads with him to trust her and put Sebastian and everything he did in the past.
A wounded Leo agrees to try and move forward, but the sting of betrayal lingers. Fallon still assumes Krista has feelings for Sebastian, but Krista denies this, insisting on making things right with Leo.
Fallon carefully suggests Leo postpone the wedding, but he’s solid in his commitment to Krista. Fallon is left frustrated by her failed intervention.
Meanwhile, Nicolette is surprised when Maddy turns up at Harold’s, having forgiven Nicolette for her prior deception and now hoping to go on another date. A tempted Nicolette talks the idea over with Cara, who orders Nicolette to turn Maddy down. It’s far too risky for Maddy and Nicolette to be seen together when they’re keeping secrets about Chelsea from Remi.
Though a reluctant Nicolette acquiesces, her and Maddy are seen together by the oblivious Remi, who’s excited to run into Maddy and calls in Cara for a family catch up. Maddy is forced to play along as Cara and Nicolette do their best to avoid their secret being accidentally spilled.
Though successfully keeping the truth from Remi, Cara is feeling the stress of her deception, and she’s frustrated that she’s still at a dead end.
Elsewhere, Jane continues to enjoy her secret love affair with Clint, though she’s completely unaware that a risky smooch at school has been witnessed. At the same time, Terese grows increasingly frustrated with the continual thefts of cleaning products from Eirini Rising and begins to wonder whether Clint is involved.
Jane successfully hoses Terese’s suspicions down, and the pair instead turn their attention to Jasmine, who was seen loitering outside Eirini Rising late at night. But the truth about Jasmine’s presence at Eirini Rising comes out… she’s been helping Elenora win card games for money against the other residents.
Jane admonishes Elenora for exploiting Jasmine’s skills, but Jasmine suggests Jane’s being a hypocrite. After all, she’s exploiting one of her own employees, revealing that she’s the one who saw her and Clint kissing. A mortified Jane is outed in front of Terese at the worst possible time.
