Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk got engaged on Season 22 of “The Bachelor.”
Less than a year after announcing their engagement at the end of “The Bachelor” Season 22, the pair wed at Maui’s Haiku Mill in a breathtaking ceremony.
Since then, they’ve welcomed three children: Alessi and twins Senna and Lux.
If you’ve been keeping up with the Luyendyk family, you know that Arie got a vasectomy and they said they were done having children.
The two had been flirting with the idea of reversing Arie’s vasectomy and teasing that they might want another baby.
Now, they just announced that Arie did just that in a new YouTube video titled, “Growing our family.”
The video starts off with Lauren saying, “We are about to do something insane. We said that we were done having kids a couple of years ago, but I think we’re going to do it one more time.”

And Arie chimed in, adding, “As you guys know, I got the vasectomy after the twins were born and I think I rushed it. Honestly, it was more on me because having the twins was hard at first.”
Lauren revealed that six months after having their twins, Arie scheduled the vasectomy “without consulting” her and she eventually “got on board” with being done with having kids.
But Arie shared, “All of our kids are just the best age right now and I just felt like dang it, I think we can do this again. If we have a singleton, we could totally handle that.”
So Arie got his vasectomy reversed!
Lauren said, “He had totally convinced me that that chapter was closed, and I came to terms with that and now I have to get out of that again. A little bit of whiplash. I’m getting there. Arie is totally there, I’m getting there, and yeah, we’re going to do it again! Hopefully baby number four coming soon! It’s so crazy.”
We love the Luyendyks and can’t wait for their family to keep growing!
