Legendary Hollyoaks star makes shock return to soap after explosive exit – and their comeback scenes have already been filmed
A legendary Hollyoaks star is due to make a shock return to the show after his explosive exit.
Jamie Lomas, 49 – who is best known for playing baddie Warren Fox, has already filmed his comeback scenes for the Channel 4 soap.
The actor first appeared in the village from 2006 to 2011, then rejoined the cast five years later until leaving in 2024.
Fans of the show will remember how the gangster ran away from his responsibilities, but now he’s due to appear in a flashback.
A source told The Sun: ‘Hollyoaks bosses promised to revisit the missing year and what better way than to welcome back Warren for it.
‘It was too good an opportunity to miss and Jamie jumped at the chance.

‘He loved his time on the show and he was more than happy to return for an appearance.’
Back in March last year it was revealed that Jamie had quit the soap after a major budget and episode cuts.
A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Jamie has been at the center of some of the soap’s biggest storylines and has been back in Hollyoaks now for nearly eight years which is a long time.
‘It’s been a long stint which he has loved but with all the changes going on he felt the time was right to move on.
‘He told bosses last week and they are already working on his exit storyline.
‘The door will be left open and it is hoped he’ll be back again as Warren Fox on day.’
Jamie has had an incredible acting career over the years.
He shot to fame in the early 2000s as PC Stubbs in Coronation Street.

Jamie also landed roles in Brookside, Heartbeat and Casualty.
The star played Alex Dempsey in Dream Team between 2005 and 2006, before landing his role on Hollyoaks.
In between his time away from the Channel 4 soap, he played Jake Stone in EastEnders between 2013 and 2015.
He also appeared in Doctors and Stella.
Jamie has also taken part in reality shows such as I’m A Celebrity and The Real Full Monty on ice.
Not only that, he’s been in films such as The Pebble and the Boy, The Decision, Eternal Life and The Wind That Shakes the Barley.
Meanwhile in his private life he’s also been very busy.
In March last year Jamie revealed his fiancée Jess Bell was pregnant with their first child in a sweet post on Valentine’s Day.
Then in August last year the pair, who met back in 2021 and got engaged in 2023, welcomed their daughter into the world.
Speaking to OK! about their bundle of joy, Jamie said: ‘She was a surprise, but a great one. Jess has always said she didn’t want children and I already have two.
‘I’ve always said that if Jess ever changed her mind and wanted a baby, I’d never deprive her of that.
‘And then Bella just happened.’
Jamie is also proud dad to Polly, 14, who he shares with his ex Kym Marsh, and Billy, 19, from a pervious relationship.
