Despite the breakup, in a recent interview with E! News, Rachael revealed that she is still processing her emotions and has come to realize that Matt still holds a special place in her heart.
“I think a lot of people assume that I feel regret or heartbreak after the breakup. But for me, the most important thing right now is realizing that no time was ever wasted. I cherish all the memories I had with Matt,” Rachael shared.
Realizing the Value of Lost Love
After reflecting on the lessons she learned from their relationship, Rachael admitted that she has learned to prioritize herself, but that also made her understand her deep feelings for Matt.
“There are so many things I’ve taken away from this experience, including standing up for myself and not losing my confidence. But more importantly, I’ve realized that true love is rare and not easily found again,” she said.
When asked whether she still has feelings for Matt James, Rachael did not hesitate to confess that she still loves him and would consider giving their relationship another chance if they could find common ground.
