Hollyoaks fans are suspecting that Tommy Odenkirk is concealing a significant secret – and they’re quite confident about their theory.
The Channel 4 audience was recently introduced to the village therapist as Leela Dexter (portrayed by Kirsty-Leigh Porter) seeks his expertise to navigate through her complex emotions stemming from her sexual assault.
A profound moment unfolded when during one of their therapy sessions, Tommy blundered professionally, attempting to kiss Leela amidst her confessions of marital turmoil, which led to her swiftly halting any further sessions.
The plot thickened as Leela then endured another horrific ordeal – this time at a charity event in the Loft where attendees, including Joel, received mobile footage of Leela’s rape, shared by none other than Abe Fielding (played by Tyler Conti).

In a rush of panic and mortification, Leela fled the venue, but not before eagle-eyed viewers spotted Tommy loitering close by, hinting at him orchestrating this sickening act of revenge.
The intrigue escalated following a scene that cryptically featured Tommy’s ‘World’s Best Brother’ mug, fuelling fan speculation that he could be blood-related to Leela’s jailbird ex-spouse Cameron Campbell (Cameron Moore), father of Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell), who’s languishing in prison convicted of six murders.
One viewer deduced: “I reckon Tommy might be related to Cameron and that is why he is obsessed with Leela #hollyoaks.”

In the episodes ahead, Leela’s spouse Joel Dexter decides to take matters into his own hands to support his wife. At their residence, Leela is shocked to encounter Tommy.
Amidst an argument between her and Joel, Tommy intervenes, suggesting Joel might want to heed his wife’s words.
With Tommy backing her, Leela is determined to continue her therapy sessions. In a heart-to-heart, Tommy suggests to Leela that Joel could also benefit from counselling, but she dismisses the idea, confessing she enjoys having something that’s exclusively hers.
