Neighbours reveals huge death story as killer is ‘confirmed’ in new spoilers

Neighbours are lining up an explosive week in the wake of their 40th anniversary, as one resident is accused of murdering Seb Metcalfe (Rarmian Newton).
He almost ruined Krista and Leo Tanaka’s (Majella Davis and Tim Kano) wedding day, and it seems the impact of his actions will reverberate through Melbourne’s most-liveable suburb for a long time to come.
In the wake of becoming a father for the eighth time, Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) tries to navigate his new life, much to partner Terese Willis’ (Rebekah Elmaloglou) upset.
The arrival of Chelsea Murphy (Viva Bianca) and baby Thomas isn’t just causing issues for the Robinsons – much closer to home, Remi Varga-Murphy (Naomi Rukavina) begins to worry that her wife Cara (Sara West) is becoming attached to the idea of having another child of their own again.
Elsewhere, the Kennedys (Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne) are rattled by Darcy Tyler’s (Mark Raffety) return to Erinsborough.
Is his reformed nature too good to be true?
Down at Eirini Rising, Harold Bishop (Ian Smith) is rattled by newcomer Agnes Adair (Anne Charleston), and before long, JJ Varga-Murphy (Riley Bryant) makes a realisation about her identity.
For all of the hottest goss from Ramsay Street, I’m your man. Here’s a look at next week’s Neighbours…
Monday, March 24
Krista and Leo return from their honeymoon and she’s determined to put things right between the both.
Her plans are stunted when she learns that Chelsea is back in the area – and with a baby.
The two soon come face to face, and before long Krista brands her a monster and tells her in no uncertain terms that she must keep away from her.

As she finally begins to settle into married life, news reaches her and Leo to alert them that a body of someone they know has been found floating in Lassiters Lake.
As a crime scene is set up around the site, the police begin to investigate Seb’s untimely death.
Leo is troubled by the officers’ presence and hides scratched on his knuckles, and doesn’t let on that he knew Seb was back in town.
Krista and Fallon (Kate Connick) are conflicted in their combined grief for Seb, with Fallon pointing out that with him dead, he can no longer hurt them both. Krista is deeply troubled by her sister’s words.

Who was responsible?
On Ramsay Street, Karl and Susan are still in disbelief that her nephew Darcy has returned after 20 years and is their new neighbour.
She calls her sister Carmel (Kirsty Child), who reassures her that his intentions are good and that he’s a changed man.
Karl remains wary, and when they meet him for lunch, they overhear him taking a dodgy call that seems to imply there’s another reason for his arrival.
Darcy explains that he wants to open up a new, integrated health clinic and he’s on the search for investors.

Is everything as it seems?
When the Kennedys return home, Karl’s painkiller addiction escalates and he begins to rummage around looking for some more drugs. Darcy catches him in the act and calls him out, saying that he should know better.
Will Darcy act on this information?
Tuesday, March 25
Karl admits that although he’s upped the recommended dosage of painkillers, he has full control of the situation and asks Darcy to keep it to himself.

To his surprise, Darcy keeps to his word and offers to help wean his uncle off the pills. Karl begins to wonder what he wants in return for his help…
Forced to accept that there is no ulterior motive, he agrees to give the treatment plan a go.
Elsewhere, Byron (Xavier Molyneux) is in emotional turmoil as Sadie (Emerald Chan) continues to refuse to see him.The share housemates approach her in the hope of making a breakthrough, and she reluctantly agrees to a visit with her boyfriend.
During their conversation, she refuses to accept his apology for leaving her in the burning garage.

Needing to escape the situation, Byron and Nicolette (Hannah Monson) join Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) on a trip to Gippsland so that they can visit their dad Vic (Craig Hall).
Back at the crime scene, homicide detective Rafe Fox begins to make routine enquiries about Seb’s death, and Leo is his first port of call.
Aaron (Matt Wilson) is nervous about his brother-in-law’s lies, but continues to back him.
Soon, Leo becomes the main person of interest in the murder investigation.
Wednesday, March 26
News spreads throughout Erinsborough that Leo is the chief suspect, with Paul arranging a lawyer for his son. Leo agrees to give a DNA sample to prove that he wasn’t responsible.

After some wise words from his dad, he approaches Krista and apologises for his recent behaviour and encourages her to stay committed to their marriage.
Chelsea has heard about Leo’s arrest and offers her support to Paul, suggesting that some time with baby Thomas could be a way of distracting himself.
Terese gives her consent for some bonding time, though continues to fight her unease at Chelsea’s presence in their lives.
Later, her good nature snaps and she tears strips off Chelsea, telling her that she isn’t convinced by her newfound clarity on life.

Elsewhere, Agnes returns to the complex and runs into Harold. He’s been sent a folder from brother-in-law Tom Ramsay (Gary Files), and invites Agnes to look over the pictures of Madge.
They’re both blown away by the resemblance, and Harold becomes overwhelmed and leaves.
As she and JJ continue to look through the folder, she discovers that she had a mutual relation to Madge – they both had the same great grandmother!
Agnes asks the teen to keep the information to himself until she has time to process it.

Thursday, March 27
Holly (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall) and Byron are thrilled to hear that Sadie is being discharged from hospital, until they’re told that she isn’t moving home and has decided to stay with her parents instead.
Byron thinks that this could be the start of a break-up, but his pals try and convince him otherwise.
Sadie is traumatised by the incident, and as she inspects her burns in the mirror, she begins to smash the room up around her.

Elsewhere, Terese feels incredibly awkward after her showdown with Chelsea and ponders whether or not to tell Paul.
Realising that he’s worried enough about Leo, she decides to keep it to herself.
Later, when he attempts to catch up with Chelsea and Thomas, she fobs him off and he begins to wonder whether he’s done something to upset her.
Terese is forced to come clean and admits her insecurities, and whilst Paul puts on a sympathetic ear, he explains that he’s playing the long game with Chelsea to ensure he plays a part in their child’s life.
Despite hurting and struggling to accept the new family dynamic, Terese offers Chelsea a heartfelt apology.
Things are tense at No. 30 too, as the jam-packed house is starting to cause a strain on Remi and Cara’s relationship.

They decide to have a couples day, but when Cara notices Chelsea is feeling low, she vetoes the idea so that she can babysit Thomas and give her sister some much needed alone time.
Remi is disappointed but covers so that neither Chelsea or Cara learn about her upset.
Whilst Cara looks after Thomas, Remi notices her wife becoming increasingly territorial over him.
Is she beginning to wish they’d had another child again?
