Kym Marsh reunites with ex Jamie Lomas after devastating split from toyboy
Former Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh reunited with her ex Jamie Lomas as they came together to celebrate their daughter Polly as she reached a big milestone

Kym Marsh had a sweet reunion with her ex after splitting from her toyboy boyfriend. The former Coronation Street star, 48, split from boyfriend Samuel last year after a whirlwind six-month romance.
They fell “head over heels” for one another when they first met, but work made it difficult to spend time together. The former soap star had been starring as Cruella De Vil in the musical tour of 101 Dalmatians, where Samuel, 29, starred as Tom Dearly.
Their romance blossomed not long after the breakdown of her third marriage to Army Major Scott Ratcliff. However, things were not meant to be between Kym and Samuel as the “magic they had at the beginning just disappeared” and they split just before Christmas.
Kym has since been focusing her energy on her family and was on hand to celebrate her daughter’s 14th birthday. She reunited with her ex Jamie Lomas for the occasion as they enjoyed a meal together.
The former couple beamed on either side of their daughter Polly as she marked her big day. Kym shared the sweet photo to her Instagram and tagged Jamie’s fiancee Jess Bell. She wrote: “Mum and dad sharing our Polly’s birthday together.”

Polly looked very grown up in the rare photo as she kept an arm on each of her famous parent’s shoulders. Kym, who also has two older children David, 29, and Emilie, 27, paid tribute to Polly on her big day as she wrote: “Happy 14th birthday to my beautiful, amazing, funny, talented, wonderfully weird, pain in the bum Polly!
“This is the only photo she will allow me to post but it just sums up our relationship!! Polly you are awesome!!! Tricky at times and challenging hahah but I wouldn’t trade you for anything or anyone! I am so very proud of you, particularly at the moment, you are on the up kiddo! You really are my rainbow baby in every sense.
“Thank you for brightening up my world. I love you with all of my heart. My baby girl, my sunshine, my little best mate. Always and forever!! Happy birthday my gorgeous girl.”
Kym and ex Jamie’s daughter Polly was born two years after son Archie, who tragically died moments after he was born 18 weeks prematurely in 2009. Their heartbreak was increased immensely by the fact Archie’s life was never formally acknowledged because babies born before 24 weeks were not entitled to a birth certificate.

Last year, Kym and Jamie came together again to celebrate their daughter for a family meal. Kym, who shared a series of photos showing Polly growing up, said she has a good relationship with Jamie and they beamed for the camera as they sat around the table. She even tagged him into the group snap as she gave a big ‘happy birthday’ to Polly.
Kym previously told the Mirror: “We have a very good relationship, Jamie and I. Polly has a good relationship with her dad. We have nothing bad to say about each other.”
The actress isn’t letting her recent heartbreak hold her back, despite thinking Samuel was her “soulmate”. A source told OK! she is instead looking forward to turning 50 next year.
They said: “It’s been hard for Kym, but she’s feeling like she’s got herself back and is really throwing herself into work.” She reportedly parted ways with 29-year-old Sam ahead of the Christmas period as they were struggling to make time for one another.
“Kym and Sam fell head over heels when they first met and couldn’t wait to tell the world. But once Kym’s role in 101 Dalmatians ended, it became harder to spend time together and some of the magic they had at the beginning just disappeared,” a source told The Sun last month.
