Hollyoaks confirms what’s wrong with Sienna – and it’s not what she thinks

Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday’s (April 2) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm.
Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) was left fearing that she’s got motor neurone disease after she suddenly collapsed last week and was unable to get back to her feet.
Doctors conducted tests and discharged her while they await results but Sienna has sure that she has the condition, recalling how she watched Patrick (Jeremy Sheffield) – who had MND – struggle following his diagnosis.
Jez (also Jeremy Sheffield) was quick to urge her to await her results before jumping to any conclusion but Sienna’s mind was already made up.
Wednesday’s offering of the long-running soap saw Sienna return to work at the flower stall and she struggled to keep her mind on the job as she repeatedly checked to see if there was any update from the hospital.
Martha (Sherrie Hewson), meanwhile, was on the receiving end of her wrath after she accidentally noted down her appointment details on a Mother’s Day card Sebastian had made for Sienna.
Sienna reiterated how she might not have many Mother’s Days left as she stormed out of the flat, with Jez determined to get her some answers from the hospital.
Martha, however, urged him not to do such a thing, revealing that she poisoned Sienna – which is what ultimately led to her collapse.

Martha, as viewers know, was determined to stop Sienna from holidaying in Bali with new flame Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin), so this is likely her motive in spiking her granddaughter.
But will her heinous actions come to light? Or will Jez cover for his mother?
