Hollyoaks fans ‘work out’ who Ro Hutchinson’s new online friend Nina really is
Hollyoaks fans are convinced that they have figured out the true identity of Ro Hutchinson's online friend Nina after he was targeted by a child predator
Hollyoaks viewers believe they have figured out the true identity of Ro Hutchinson’s new online friend, Nina.
Tony and Diane Hutchinson’s son has been communicating with ‘Nina’ online after his traumatic bullying experience with Arlo Fielding.
Following months of verbal and physical torment from Arlo, Ro has felt increasingly isolated in recent weeks.
He did manage to form a connection with Kathleen-Angel McQueen, and there were hints that he might have feelings for his friend.
In episodes aired this week, Ro expressed his worries about his future looking rather bleak to his new friend, reports the Mirror..
During Wednesday’s (April 2) episode, which is available for streaming online, Ro met up with Kathleen-Angel. As the youngsters got better acquainted, Ro told Kathleen-Angel about his new online friend named Nina.

As they discussed it, Ro explained that Nina listens to his problems and offers him some comfort, but who exactly is this enigmatic new character?
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, some fans suggested Nina could be Arlo’s mum Marie Fielding trying to get to the bottom of what’s going on but others think it could be someone much more sinister.
One viewer wrote: “Do we think Nina is a possible child predator or a real teen that Ro is speaking to? # Hollyoaks.”
Another suggested: “What if Nina is Ds Banks? He’s dating Ro’s mum which gives him easy access to Ro and he knows he is vulnerable #hollyoaks.”
A third person commented: “Ro is way too young to be targeted by the exploitation ring right……right. please say right. #hollyoaks.”
DI Banks was recently unveiled as the superior of Grace Black and Rex Gallagher in the human trafficking plot.
Frankie Osborne, played by Isabelle Smith, and Dillon Ray, portrayed by Nathaniel Dass, have been enticed with the promise of a seemingly glamorous lifestyle as part of this captivating narrative.
The harsh truth is that they’ve been drawn into a world from which it’s hard to break free without help, a world where they’re likely to face criminal and sexual exploitation.
