Serious Incident Mars Wedding Anniversary Celebration of ‘The Bachelor’ Couple
What was meant to be a heartwarming milestone for Bachelor Nation’s beloved couple Abigail Heringer Erb and Noah Erb took an unexpected turn. The couple, who fell in love during Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise and tied the knot in a dreamy garden ceremony in Tulsa, Oklahoma, recently celebrated their six-month wedding anniversary — but the day was nearly overshadowed by a frightening mishap.
As fans swooned over the couple’s adorable Instagram tributes, a more serious update surfaced shortly after. While preparing to watch their wedding video together for the very first time, Abigail suffered a minor but alarming accident.
In a follow-up TikTok posted by Noah, he revealed that Abigail had slipped and fallen while carrying a tray of snacks into their living room. “We were getting ready for the most romantic evening, and somehow, in true Abi fashion, she managed to turn it into an ER visit,” Noah said, attempting to keep the tone light.
Abigail was rushed to a nearby urgent care after sustaining a sprained ankle and a bruised wrist. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries, and she was released within hours. Noah joked, “She wanted me to carry her down the aisle again — just didn’t think it would be on our couch anniversary night.”
Abi also took to Instagram Stories to update fans, sharing a photo of her leg wrapped in a bandage and resting on a pile of pillows. She wrote, “Not exactly how we planned to celebrate six months, but I guess every love story needs a little drama, right?”
Fans flooded the couple’s comment sections with love, support, and well wishes. One follower wrote, “You two even make ER trips look romantic!” while another added, “A true test of marriage: snacks and sprains!”
Despite the hiccup, Abigail and Noah still managed to watch their wedding video together — snacks and all. In a sweet moment shared online, they laughed, cried, and relived the magical day that brought them officially together.
Here’s wishing Abi a speedy recovery and many more incident-free anniversaries to come!
