Neighbours actor Matt Wilson, best known for playing Aaron Brennan, has shared an emotional update about his third child that has left fans both surprised and deeply moved.
In a heartfelt interview, the 36-year-old star opened up about the health struggles his newborn has been facing, revealing that the baby has been experiencing ongoing issues that have taken a toll on the entire family.
“We cried a lot,” Matt confessed. “It hasn’t been easy. The baby has been refusing to eat, vomiting often, and getting sick repeatedly. There were nights when we barely slept, just praying things would get better.”
Matt explained that he and his wife — whose identity he has always kept private — have taken their baby to see several doctors, undergone various tests, and are now closely monitoring the situation with medical professionals. While some serious conditions have been ruled out, they are still searching for answers.
“Being a parent of three is a challenge on its own, but watching your child struggle and not being able to do much is absolutely heartbreaking,” he added.
The actor also expressed his gratitude to fans who have been supportive and kind on social media during this tough time. He admitted that he was hesitant to speak about such a personal issue, but eventually felt it was important — especially for other parents going through something similar.
“I think we need to be more open about the challenges of parenthood. Family life isn’t always picture-perfect like it appears on social media. There are moments when you feel completely helpless, and that’s okay.”
