Hollyoaks has confirmed Dodger Savage’s (Danny Mac) reasons for trying to bring down DI Banks’ (Drew Cain) operation, with granddaughter Victoria in the care of the hardened criminal.
Dodgy detective Banks, as viewers know, has been running a child exploitation operation in the village with the help of Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey).
Grace and Rex wasted little time in targeting the teens of the village, with Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) and Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) subsequently groomed and exploited.
Dodger, meanwhile, has been working undercover to try and dismantle the illegal operation, hoping to make Banks, Rex and Grace pay for what they’ve done.
His motive for doing so comes to light next week – and it involves his granddaughter Victoria.
As reported in The Sun, Victoria will return to screens in upcoming scenes, with nine-year-old Harriet O’Shea stepping into the role of Victoria, who was last seen in 2018 as a baby just shortly after Nico (Persephone Swales-Dawson) gave birth.
In new pictures, Victoria is seen sitting in the back seat of twisted DI Banks’ car.
Metro understands that DI Banks is caring for Victoria as his own daughter.
The question is: will Dodger be able to take down the dodgy detective and be reunited with his beloved granddaughter in the process?
The undercover cop confides in Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) next week about why he must make the people who took away his family pay, prompting Max to encourage him to stay put and do just that.
But with Grace intent on doing something awful to Maxine, will Dodger be able to rescue his granddaughter and his beloved Maxine as well?
The much-loved character is proving to be something of a hero already, having come to the rescue of Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) after she collapsed in the market earlier this week.
With Victoria in the grip of Banks, will Dodger be able to save her? And just how will Sienna react to word of the little girl’s comeback?
