Hollyoaks confirms car crash tragedy as Sienna Blake ‘works out’ poison culprit

Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is in serious peril in Hollyoaks next week as a devastating car crash ensues when she cannot feel her legs while driving the vehicle.
The former high school teacher, as viewers know, came to suspect she has motor neurone disease after she collapsed to the floor and couldn’t feel her legs.
Jez (Jeremy Sheffield) was quick to try and dispel such a theory – that is, until he realised that Martha (Sherrie Hewson) had poisoned his daughter to prevent her from going on holiday with Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin).
Martha was concerned that Sienna might spill the family’s murderous secrets to Cleo, thus why she intervened.+
Jez was going to dispose of the poison and put a stop to the situation until he realised that estranged son Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) would only stay put if Sienna’s life was at risk and therefore he proceeded to poison his daughter once again.
Sienna remains adamant that motor neurone disease is the only explanation for her repeated collapses and therefore she undergoes some tests this week, before being left in shock by a discovery when the results come back.
The florist comes to realise that someone has been drugging her, sharing the news with Dodger, who is horrified, believing Grace Black (Tamara Wall) is to blame.
Sienna, however, reckons it’s someone closer to home and her investigation puts a dampener on Jez’s engagement party as the killer shares with Martha that he’s beside himself with worry over the truth coming out.

In a bid to protect her family, Martha decides to intervene, setting Cleo up to be the fall girl.
As John Paul (James Sutton) arrives and the engagement party gets underway, Sienna remains on edge, asking Cleo to tone down the public displays of affection, which leaves the nurse hurt.
Horror strikes when Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane) doubles over in pain, while Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) gets a call informing him that Lucas (Oscar Curtis) has been rushed to hospital.

Determined to help her friend, Sienna offers Ste a lift to the hospital but, upon getting behind the wheel of the car, her vision begins to blur. Terrified, Sienna reveals that she’s can’t feel her legs.
Later, Jez’s world comes crashing don as he receives a call, learning that Sienna has been in a car crash, having suffered temporary paralysis once again.
He races to the hospital with Martha and Cleo by his side as they await news on Sienna.

After the incident, Sienna and her family accuse Cleo of being the one to poison her. Cleo is left reeling by her accusation and assures Sienna she would never do anything to hurt her.
Will Sienna realise that Martha and Jeremy are the culprits? Will Cleo perhaps prove instrumental in exposing the duo? She previously had reservations about Jez, so will this incident add further fuel to that fire?
