The scales fall from Jez Blake’s (Jeremy Sheffield) eyes in Hollyoaks next week as his murderous secrets are uncovered by Tommy Odenkirk (Brandon Fellows), who has recordings to prove his crimes.
Jez, as viewers know, has been claiming lives for decades, keeping a journal with all the gory details of the souls unfortunate enough to cross paths with him.
Since arriving in the village, he’s murdered Abe Fielding (Tyler Conti) and his own niece Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith), roping Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) in to help him bury her cousin’s body.
In order to combat his demons, Jez has been seeing Tommy, who was thought to be a therapist. He was a therapist but ultimately he got struck off, which Leela Dexter (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) recently discovered.
Next week, Tommy rocks up in the village dressed in black. Leela spots him from afar and approaches but Jez gets there first, with Tommy revealing that it’s the day of Billy’s funeral, hence his attire.
Jez offers to stay with him, hoping to revisit the hypnosis session they had previously as he fears what Tommy may have uncovered.
Leela, meanwhile, spots Jez with Tommy and swiftly informs him that his so-called therapist is a fraud and, what’s more, he records his patient’s sessions.
Jez is left reeling.
Where Tommy returns home, he find Jez waiting on him. Jez has a plan and he intends to put an end to Tommy’s games once and for all.
But before he can do so, a recording of him confessing to murders is played out, which stops him in his tracks.
Jez, not used to not having the upper hand, deliberates his next move as Tommy issues him with an ultimatum.
With the clock ticking, Jez begins to spiral and Martha (Sherrie Hewson) finds him in a state of distress.
Is this the end for the killer? What does Tommy want from him?
