Neighbours is set to deliver one of its most emotional moments as beloved dog Trevor – the heart of the share house – faces a tearful farewell in a bittersweet twist.
In upcoming episodes, Haz contacts Byron with a major decision: it’s time for Trevor to move to France to live with him and Mackenzie. It’s the next step in the couple’s journey as they build a new life overseas.
Immediately, the share house gang – including Byron, Taye, Max, Holly, and Sadie – rally together to begin crate training Trevor in preparation for the long flight. But it quickly becomes clear that Trevor is deeply distressed by the process.
The lovable pup struggles with confinement, showing visible anxiety and discomfort that tugs at everyone’s heartstrings. When Haz hears how much Trevor is suffering, he’s torn between doing what’s practical and what’s best for his loyal companion.
In a heartfelt and selfless decision, Haz chooses to let go. He tells Byron that Trevor should stay in Australia, where he’s happiest – surrounded by the familiar faces and spaces he loves.
