Neighbours villain Darcy to finally be caught out – but he fights back

Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours favourite Karl Kennedy uncovers the shocking truth about his nephew Darcy Tyler next week – when it becomes clear that the manipulative medic hasn’t changed his ways at all.
Convinced that Darcy’s claim he’s turned over a new leaf is all an act, Karl meets up with former Erinsborough resident Tess Bell, who it turns out was married to Darcy.
And as Tess reveals the terrible truth about her ex-husband, Karl’s left reeling…
“Susan may be fooled by Darcy’s Mr Nice Guy act, but Karl’s having none of it,” our Neighbours source reveals.
“When he meets up with Tess, Karl listens on in horror as she reveals that she divorced Darcy after two horrible years – and he still owes her a whole load of cash. But what will Susan make of it all?”
Ever since Darcy returned, Karl’s been unable to shake the feeling that he’s hiding something. However, his hands have been tied since Darcy stumbled upon his uncle’s painkiller addiction, and started blackmailing him…
Karl has every right to be suspicious, though, as Darcy’s been manipulating Eirini Rising resident Amanda Harris in a bid to get his hands on her life savings. And after searching her apartment for her shareholding documents, sneaky Darcy signs them all over into his name.
Meanwhile, after his alarming meeting with Tess, Karl goes straight to Susan to tell her what he’s found out. But he’s mortified when he realises that Darcy has overheard every word…
“On the other hand, Karl finds it highly suspicious that Darcy has an answer prepared for everything. Something just doesn’t ring true about what he’s saying.”
It seems Karl may have underestimated his opponent though, as Darcy’s soon concocting a plot to discredit Karl… and having agreed to help his uncle get his painkiller addiction under control, wicked Darcy secretly switches Karl’s herbal medication for opioids.
As Karl unwittingly downs the very medication he’s trying to avoid, how will it affect him? And will he be left at the mercy of dastardly Darcy?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday 13 May and Wednesday 14 May.
