Neighbours fans are in for another emotional rollercoaster as the already fragile relationship between Paul Robinson and Terese Willis begins to unravel — this time, triggered by a shocking kiss.
In upcoming episodes, the cracks between Paul and Terese become increasingly visible after Chelsea Murphy returns to Erinsborough with baby Thomas — the child Paul still believes is his biological son. Although Chelsea knows the truth — that Paul is not Thomas’s father — she continues to keep it hidden in hopes of securing a stable future for herself and the child.
Still believing he’s the father, Paul sets up a trust fund for Thomas. But when he shares a charged, emotional kiss with Chelsea, things take a dramatic turn. Despite knowing it was a moment of weakness, Paul can’t shake the guilt and attempts to bury it by buying Terese a diamond necklace — a gesture that does little to cover up the truth.
Trying to keep up appearances, Terese flaunts the necklace to Chelsea — but Chelsea quickly realizes it’s a token of Paul’s guilt, not love. When Leo also sees through Paul’s grand gesture, Paul confesses to the kiss and admits he’s afraid to tell Terese, fearing it will break her heart.
Although Leo urges Paul to stay away from Chelsea, Paul is conflicted — drawn back to the mother of the child he still believes is his. Things reach a breaking point during a romantic lunch when Terese, still feeling jealous, tells Paul she trusts him. But that trust shatters when she witnesses a tender moment between Paul and Chelsea with her own eyes.
Devastated and betrayed, Terese makes a heartbreaking decision — she walks away.
Meanwhile, Chelsea starts to dream of a future where she, Paul, and Thomas are a family again. But with the truth about Thomas’s paternity still hidden, will it all come crashing down?
