Longtime Hollyoaks star Nadine Mulkerrin has revealed her wish to step away from the popular soap in pursuit of fresh opportunities in her acting career.
Nadine, who has portrayed Cleo McQueen for nearly a decade, shared in a recent interview that she feels it’s time to move beyond her comfort zone and embrace new challenges:
“I’ve loved Hollyoaks and will always be grateful for the years I’ve spent playing Cleo. But as an actress, I also crave the chance to explore different roles and new, exciting projects.”
Nadine’s openness about potentially leaving the show has sparked concern among fans about the future of Cleo McQueen – one of the soap’s most beloved characters. Over the years, Cleo has been at the heart of powerful storylines, from her struggles with eating disorders to complicated romances and heartbreaking family drama.
