1. Tommy threatens Jez
Leela admits to Joel that she is struggling to deal with baby Clara on her own, leaving him believing that there could be hope for their relationship. Tommy will do anything to stop the couple from reuniting, so he blackmails Jez into getting rid of Leela for good. Jez doesn’t believe that he will follow through on his threat, but soon changes his mind when Tommy mentions his terrifying alter ego, The Reaper…
2. Nancy gets big news
While Oscar worries about Frankie and his upcoming operation, Nancy hides a positive pregnancy test from her family. She confides in Mercedes about how she must have fallen pregnant after she briefly reunited with Darren. Nancy regretted their night together and doesn’t want to keep the baby, and her chat with Mercedes leaves her uncertain about her future.
3. Rex questions Grace
After the reveal of his undercover identity, Dodger offers Rex immunity if he helps him expose DI Banks. Darren says that Frankie left her passport behind, and both Dodger and Rex get suspicious about where she is.
Rex confronts Grace, who insists that she doesn’t know where Frankie and Dillon are – although viewers know she bundled the two teens into a car and took them to an unknown location. He pleads with his sister to save the teens and go to the police. She breaks down in tears, saying that she is in too deep and backing down would put her and Curtis in danger.
4. Joel makes a discovery
When Joel catches Jez snooping in Tommy’s flat, he explains that Tommy isn’t who he is – providing proof that he tried to ruin his life and his relationship with Leela. In response, Jez reveals that it was Tommy who leaked the video of Leela and tells Joel that he knows he was responsible for Billy’s death.
5. Robbie and Vicky reunite
Still held captive, Robbie hears Vicky’s voice from a nearby room and calls out to her. The former couple are able to talk through the walls, and Vicky apologies to Robbie for her past mistakes, admitting that she still loves him. Robbie also confesses that he is the reason Vicky was locked up – he wanted revenge after discovering her affair with Freddie, but thought he had managed to stop Grace.
Vicky asks Robbie if they could restart their relationship if they get out of this nightmare alive. Will they give things another go?
6. Nancy and Darren are at odds
Mercedes encourages Nancy to be honest with Darren about her pregnancy, but Nancy is frustrated that her husband isn’t being present for Oscar ahead of his operation. Darren is instead concerned about how Frankie could have gone on holiday without a passport. However, Donny assures him that Frankie and Dillon are safe.
Nancy and Darren struggle to focus on Oscar, arguing across his bedside while their marriage continues to fall apart.
7. Jez strikes again?
Joel is keen to go to the police about Tommy, but Jez is naturally resistant, not wanting his crimes to be exposed. To buy time, he invites Joel out for a drink at The Loft. As the pair party together, recovering addict Joel relapses and takes drugs with Jez.
At the club, Jez gets a visit from Tommy, dressed as the Reaper. Tommy tells him to kill Joel or his murderous identity will be exposed. As Leela finds Joel high outside the club, Jez makes his move.
The next day, Marie tells Leela that Joel needs their support, and they can’t abandon him now. The pair set off to search for Joel, but are they too late, and has Jez claimed his next victim?
8. Kat reveals the truth
Kat arrives at the Osbornes’ house battered and bruised, and they allow her to stay the night. Nancy puts aside her anger towards Kat, as she feels that she may have information about Frankie. Nancy and Darren urge Kat to tell them the truth, and Kat eventually starts talking.
The next morning, Kat confesses that she purposely tried to cut Frankie off from her family to leave her vulnerable to exploitation. Have Nancy and Darren discovered the whole truth, and will they find Frankie?
9. Lucas is worried
Ste realises that Lucas hasn’t slept ahead of his pre-operation consultation. He is worried that his son hasn’t been looking after himself since his brain tumour diagnosis, but Lucas lashes out. Lucas is more concerned about his relationship with Dillon, and Ste has to remind him that he won’t be able to fix things if he doesn’t get better. Will Lucas be talked round?
10. Dodger gets an update
Dodger gets news about the search warrant he has requested, which will bring them even closer to exposing DI Banks. He tells Donny that the wheels are in motion, and they are now days away from getting serious evidence. Are they finally about to bring down the illegal operation?
