12 huge Neighbours spoilers for next week: ‘Things are getting crazy’
Next week on Neighbours, Paul makes his final choice between Terese and Thomas.
Elsewhere, Aaron finds himself at the centre of a love triangle, and Wendy looks set to face another crisis with Andrew.
1. Paul receives a wake-up call
Paul is disappointed when Terese and Nell move their things back into the Willis house following the latest tensions over Chelsea. He initially refuses to change his stance, but Terese, Leo and Krista are all united over how his ongoing attachment to baby Thomas isn’t healthy.
Deciding that a firmer approach is needed, Terese gives Paul a final ultimatum and warns him to choose between her and Thomas.
2. Paul makes his decision
Although Paul initially hesitates, he soon comes to his senses and realises that he has to choose Terese. He promises that he’ll finally put Chelsea and Thomas in the past.
Chelsea is livid when Paul warns her that she can’t be in his life anymore. She reminds him that he knew the truth about Thomas for days before the secret came out to everyone else. Could Chelsea still use this information against Paul?
3. Chelsea says her goodbyes
Chelsea stirs up trouble by warning Terese that Paul is desperate to fill the void left behind by David’s death – an issue that still remains unresolved. Terese refuses to listen and invites Paul to move onto Ramsay Street with her.
Later, Chelsea’s kids decide to give her another chance. They invite her and Thomas to join them on the Gold Coast. It’s emotional for Chelsea as she says goodbye to Cara and Remi again.
4. Rhett returns
Aaron crosses paths with Rhett, who reveals that he’s single again. The news thrills Aaron, who previously missed out on his chance to pursue a relationship with Rhett.
As Aaron decides that he’s ready to start dating again, he makes plans to see Rhett.
5. Colton returns
Aaron and Rhett’s croquet date takes an unexpected turn when Colton turns up. Colton has bagged an interview for the acting general manager role at Eirini Rising – and was partly interested because he knew that Aaron would be nearby.
It’s overwhelming for Aaron as he realises that Colton wants to revisit their holiday fling. Does Aaron want to be with Rhett or Colton?
6. Taye loses patience with his side hustle
Taye’s escorting work lands him in more trouble when pianist Richard shares his fears that his wife Monica is having an affair. Taye recognises Monica as one of his clients, meaning that he’s the unwitting other man!
Later in the week, Taye confides in Max about how his escorting has become too difficult to keep under wraps, so he’ll be giving it up.
7. Darcy targets Karl again
Darcy has another meeting with Tess. He seems to be making progress with his ex-wife and hopes that she’ll agree to start afresh with him away from Erinsborough.
Karl spots this meeting and has his own quiet word with Tess. When he hears about the mix-up with the café on the day that Amanda died, he realises that it calls Darcy’s alibi into question.
Darcy sees the pair talking and fears that Karl is getting too close to the truth. Retaliating, he injects Karl with a mysterious substance that paralyses him.
8. Karl is rushed to hospital
Karl is left in a comatose state following Darcy’s attack and is rushed to hospital. His condition is unexplained, although Remi – who’s unaware that Karl was injected with anything – voices the theory that he may have suffered a stroke.
Darcy continues his deception by once again “finding” opioids in Karl’s bag so that everyone thinks he suffered a stroke caused by his addiction.
9. Paul tries to raise the alarm
Paul warns Susan that Karl was deeply suspicious of Darcy before his health scare, which could be connected. Susan brushes this off, insisting that Karl was just being paranoid.
Although Paul agrees to back off, he’s still not satisfied and decides to continue keeping a close eye on Darcy.
10. Byron and Sadie’s tensions continue
Sadie is disappointed to learn that Byron plans to challenge Amanda’s will, which listed her as a major beneficiary. Nicolette backs Byron, but Jane doesn’t think it’s a good idea.
Jane reminds Byron that he and Sadie were once very close, but Byron insists that he clearly loved Sadie much more than she did him.
11. Wendy has a secret meeting
Wendy secretly meets Andrew’s biological sister Gretchen following her recent research into his family history. Gretchen shares disappointing news, explaining that their mother died years ago and their father isn’t a good person.
As Gretchen suggests that it’s best to protect Andrew from the disappointment, Wendy is left feeling torn over what to do next.
12. Wendy’s latest secret is revealed
Wendy looks forward to getting her life back on track after recent setbacks, but there’s more trouble to come when Andrew finds out about her secret enquiries regarding his biological family.
Wendy confesses all – including the meeting with Gretchen – and Andrew is flabbergasted that she’d go behind his back like this.
