All Hollyoaks spoilers for next week as long-awaited return is confirmed – This is really crazy.
Hollyoaks delivers all the thrills again next week, as my new spoilers reveal, with a first look at a highly-anticipated character comeback.
I am of course referring to village legend Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins), whose return story isn’t exactly what you might have predicted, with the character serving a stint in prison!
If that wasn’t exciting enough then you’ll be pleased to know that Tom is determined to take down old nemesis Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) as this rivalry is reignited once more.
Elsewhere, Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) and Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) share a heartfelt moment in the wake of recent events but is there hope for a reunion?
And speaking of reunions, Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) reunites with Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin), who is determined to keep her pregnancy a secret. Doing so in Hollyoaks, however, is easier said than done.

Monday July 7
Reeling from Lucas’ attack, Ste organises an emergency hospital appointment.
The scans come back clear, with the doctor believing that an emotional response to trauma could be a contributing factor. Lucas storms off, with Ste rushing after to comfort him but later Ste receives a voicemail from Dillon, who is intent on confessing to the shooting of DI Banks.
Vicky urges him to keep shtum but Dillon floors Misbah and Donny with what he has to say. Rex, meanwhile, is waiting for a visit from Ste – but Donny turns up instead.
Mercedes is hellbent on locating Bobby, urging Donny to believe that her son did not kill his social worker. Tony offers comfort to Mercedes, who gives him the cold shoulder.
Jacob ghosts Frankie and later is on the receiving end of Clare’s wrath as she comes to believe Bobby has escaped. Bobby, however, subsequently shows himself.
Tuesday July 8
Donny offers Rex a deal, promising him his freedom in exchange for a confession linking Clare to the exploitation. Later, Donny relays his offer to Ste, who subsequently visits Rex on the detective’s behalf.
Tom Cunningham, meanwhile, is in prison and he calls Donny, offering up some information on sworn nemesis Clare.
Clare later pays Rex a visit in prison and, realising Tom is inside too, she orders him to kill her enemy – otherwise she will sell Jacob and Bobby to some cruel people.
Dillon attends his first NA meeting, with Ste and Lucas on hand to offer him support afterwards. Later, Dillon and Lucas have a heart-to-heart, with Dillon apologising for what he did.

Wednesday July 9
Grace wakes from her coma, with Clare paying her sister a visit. Grace reveals that it wasn’t Robbie who left her for dead.
Cleo arrives back in the village, notifying Sienna that she has made her mind up – she’s keeping the baby but wants them to go on this adventure together. Sienna wholeheartedly accepts, agreeing to keep it between them and the McQueens for now.
Things, however, are set to escalate as a wine-tasting event hosted by Tony gets underway at The Hutch.
With Bobby’s whereabouts unknown, Cleo’s pregnancy being kept a secret, Leela in attendance, Marie and Diane back in the same room and Darren and Nancy having returned from their holiday, things look set to be awkward.
Marie is convinced there is a secret in the room – but will she expose any? And if so, which?
Clare, meanwhile, piles the pressure on Rex to kill Tom. Rex sets about doing just that – but will he succeed?
With Tom appearing to be alone and friendless, Rex gets set to pounce. The question is: is Tom set to meet a tragic end so soon after returning to our screens?
