‘Together again’: TV stars reunite one year after legend’s exit from iconic show

Hollyoaks star Anya Lawrence has reunited with co-star Ross Adams a year after his exit from the Channel 4 soap.
Ross announced his exit from his role as Scott Drinkwell to Metro in March 2024, with the character departing the screen four months later in July.
His exit storyline was criticised by fans at the time for feeling ‘rushed’, with Scott making a final appearance over video call after jetting off to Spain unannounced.
Following his final scenes, Ross reached out to fans on social media to thank them for their support, writing: ‘As I sit here with fluffy hair drinking my morning coffee, I am so completely overwhelmed with the outpouring of love I’ve had since Scott’s exit’ he wrote.
‘You’re all very lovely. Thank you.’
He also wrote, ‘It wasn’t the exit I wanted for him but I’m so grateful to have played him’, pairing it with a heart broken emoji.

Now, he has reunited with co-star Anya, who plays on-screen foster daughter Vicky Grant.
Taking to Instagram, they both shared selfies together, with Scott writing: ‘Together again with my absolute fave.’
‘Lovely little afternoon with my favourite,’ Anya captioned her own ppost.

Anya’s character Vicky was recently involved in a huge storyline that saw her kidnapped and trafficked by Grace Black (Tamara Wall).
She was also involved in the dramatic shooting of DI Banks, alongside Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) and Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass).
DI Banks had been the leader of an exploitation gang in the village that had targeted the teens and groomed them.
