Former Bachelorette Clare Crawley got engaged to Ryan Dawkins in October 2022, shortly after introducing him to Bachelor Nation.
Around a year later, the two officially tied the knot and welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Rowen via surrogate in January 2024.
Now Clare is taking to Instagram to reveal how Ryan is doing after a scary biking accident.
Over the weekend, Clare shared photos from the emergency room and wrote, “Not on our weekend bucketlist but here we are.”
The former Bachelorette continued, saying, “Ryan was out cycling and on his way to meet up with us. He was about 2 mins away and [an] SUV side swiped him as he was going fast and he crashed on his bike. The idiots didn’t even stop to help him, they just kept going.”
She also shared a photo of his broken headphone he was wearing at the time and wrote, “Bless helmets, this could’ve been soooo much worse. Ryan’s home and ok now thank god. Gonna be hurting for a bit, his ribs are jacked up and some road rash. So glad it wasn’t worse!”
Thankfully, Clare said she was close by and was able to get him to the hospital right away.
“So glad we were literally minutes away from him when he crashed. Lost a little faith in humanity with the A-hole in the White Range Rover, and all the other cars that just went around him when he was down,” she shared.
We are so glad Ryan is recovering from this scary accident and we’re grateful Clare was nearby.
