Drama is set to erupt at Neighbours next week as Saskia Ramsay, the show’s newest troublemaker, crosses a major line by locking Wendy Rodwell in a store cupboard at Erinsborough High – all in a fit of revenge.
Saskia, who recently arrived in Ramsay Street, has been struggling to find her place. However, things take a disturbing turn when her growing obsession with Wendy reaches breaking point. What begins as a quest for connection spirals into a sinister act of vengeance.
It all kicks off when Saskia invites herself to a 21st birthday party being thrown at the Rodwell household for Wendy’s daughter, Sadie. Although Saskia claims she’s attending to spend time with her brother Max, it becomes quickly apparent that she’s more focused on getting Wendy’s attention.
“With Max uninterested in bonding and distracted by party guests, Saskia turns her energy onto Wendy,” a Neighbours insider reveals. “She starts trailing Wendy around the house like a lost puppy, clearly desperate for her approval.”
Unfortunately, Wendy is already preoccupied with her own personal drama. She’s just come off a difficult argument with husband Andrew and is hoping for a moment of peace to talk things through. Instead, she finds herself being stalked by an increasingly clingy Saskia.
Wendy eventually loses her patience and snaps at Saskia, asking her for space and setting firm boundaries. But the drama doesn’t end there.
The very next day at Erinsborough High, Saskia once again tries to monopolise Wendy’s time, only to be rebuffed again. This second rejection is too much for the emotionally volatile teen to bear.
“Saskia’s rage builds,” the source continues. “She waits for her moment and then seizes the opportunity to lock Wendy inside a school store cupboard. She thinks she can get away with it unnoticed – but it’s a risky move.”
