Bachelor Nation star Kendall Long Sagely introduced fans to her partner Mitchell Sagely in 2022, and the two got engaged in 2023.
The two have since gotten married and welcomed their first child together, daughter Elise, earlier this year.
Kendall has previously expressed interest in wanting to have twins, since she is an identical twin herself.
And now, she revealed she may be ready to start trying for those twins and shared how.
In a new video on Instagram, Kendall shared that breastfeeding can boost your odds of twins.
Alongside the video she wrote, “It’s true! Some studies show that conceiving while breastfeeding might increase your chances of twins by as much as 9X.”
And in the video, as she baked cookies with an egg with a double yolk, Kendall said, “I’m currently breastfeeding, which typically suppresses fertility, but if I just so happy to get pregnant today, it’s more likely to be a twin pregnancy. The thought is it’s due to hormonal fluctuations while breastfeeding, which primarily produces more follicle stimulating hormone. These hormonal changes could cause the release of multiple eggs during ovulation, aka fraternal twins. Being a twin myself, I would love to have twins.”
She ended her post by saying, “All of this twin talk makes me want to start trying for baby number two… and three!”
We love learning from Kendall and following along as she grows her adorable little family.
We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that twins are in her future!
