Neighbours reveals special episode: The painful ending of a couple
Neighbours spoilers follow from Monday’s episode (December 16), which some readers may prefer to avoid if they haven’t watched yet.
Neighbours has aired a romantic reunion for Paul Robinson and Terese Willis.
The popular pairing were brought back together in a special two-hander episode on Monday (December 16).
Terese joined Paul as he headed off to Winterton to find his son Leo Tanaka, believing that he could be in danger due to his association with Sebastian Metcalfe.
Emotions ran high during the trip when it appeared that Leo may have come to harm, but Paul and Terese were later relieved to learn that he was fine and already on his way back home to Erinsborough.
Paul and Terese’s own return home was delayed due to road blocks, caused by landslides in the area. They had no choice but to drive to a nearby town and stay overnight in a cabin that was clearly catered towards couples.
Surrounded by romantic decorations, flowers and heart-shaped chocolates, Paul and Terese had plenty of time to reflect on their romantic history.
Terese was adamant that they shouldn’t reunite after so much toxicity between them, but this stance left Paul deeply disappointed.
The next morning, Paul took the honest approach by telling Terese that he wanted her back.
Terese continued to reject Paul, but ultimately threw caution to the wind by approaching him for a passionate kiss.
The romantic scenes kicked off a huge week for Neighbours, which has some big cliffhangers lined up in the final episode of the year on Thursday (December 19).
Newly-released spoiler pictures from Thursday’s episode show Paul happily showcasing his reunion with Terese while hosting an impromptu Christmas Day gathering in his penthouse.
After this, Neighbours will take a two-week break and return to screens on Monday, January 6.
Neighbours‘ special Paul and Terese episode was written by executive producer Jason Herbison and directed by Kate Kendall.
The show has previously aired two-hander episodes for Toadie and Sonya Rebecchi in 2019 and Susan Kennedy and Finn Kelly in 2020.
