Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) is left beside himself in Hollyoaks next week when he’s told by daughter Frankie (Isabelle Smith) that he cheated on Nancy (Jessica Fox).
The much-loved village legend, as viewers know, is hellbent on making things work with soulmate Nancy following his return to the village late last year.
Frankie, meanwhile, was looking to the future following JJ’s (Ryan Mulvey) sentencing but more devastation lurks, with the teen targeted by Kat (Sonia Ibrahim) online at the request of Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey), who is looking to exploit a number of teens.
Darren, who knew Kat previously from when he went missing, is left somewhat perturbed to see her hanging around with his daughter and, during Dillon Ray’s (Nathaniel Dass) moving in party, he confronts her on the subject.
As for what Kat says remains to be seen but next Monday’s (February 17) edition of the Channel 4 soap will see Darren wake up at Weirside View, having spent the night at the property.
The cab driver isn’t able to remember much and, upon arriving back home, he finds himself in Frankie and Nancy’s bad books.
He apologises for not coming home the night before but there’s a much bigger shock in store when Frankie tells him that he cheated on Nancy – with Kat.
Darren is left reeling by the accusation and assures Frankie that he simply passed out after he was sick from drinking too much.
The question is: just why has Frankie accused him of sleeping with Kat? And will he be able to prove his innocence?
