As Bachelor Nation fans know, former Bachelor Ben Higgins married the love of his life, Jess Clarke Higgins, in November 2021.
Since then, the two moved in together, adopted a puppy named Waylon, and announced last summer that they are expecting their first child together – a baby girl.
Now, Ben has officially joined the girl dad club and took to Instagram to share the exciting news that baby girl Higgins has finally arrived!
He posted a sweet photo of Jess holding their daughter in her arms and wrote, “Update and more to come but baby girl Higgins has entered the world. She is healthy. [Jess] is doing so well. I don’t yet have words for what just happened but the update right now is we have a daughter and Jess is recovering so well.”
Ben also revealed their baby girl’s name and birthdate in another post, writing, “First, I did not realize I could be more in love and more impressed with @jessclarke_ but after the last 48 hours my heart has exploded for her and our new baby girl. Winona (Winnie for short if she’s ok with it) Elane Higgins was born at 2:53 am on 2/12. ”
Ben continued and shared how he’s still in disbelief but feels grateful for their new bundle of joy.
“Words still are hard for me, I won’t accurately articulate what just happened,” he admitted, “But for the last 2 mornings I wake up feeling like it was a dream, reminding myself of the blessings of Jesus, then looking over to see Jessica and Winona and being mentally reunited with the truth that I am a dad and a husband and that we are a family. Life starts again for us, a new chapter we enter into, and so many moments of lacking the words but feeling God inspired love.”
Fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments with words of love and congratulations for Ben and Jess on their adorable new addition to their family.

We are so glad both mom and baby Winnie are healthy! We can’t wait to follow along as Ben and Jess raise their little one, and we know they are going to be the best parents.
