Bachelor Nation fans got to see fan-favorite couple Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross fall in love and get engaged on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”
A couple months ago, the couple got engaged again as Zach got down on one knee for a second time and re-proposed to his fiancée.
And earlier this year, they teased that they are planning to elope.
Now, Kaity is opening up more about their wedding plans and her relationship with Zach in a new Q&A on Instagram.
When a fan asked about their wedding, she said, “Little update here. Zach and I aren’t having a wedding. We’re going to put that money towards our future home. It was actually my idea and he’s super pumped about it so we’re on the same page there. I think we’ll just throw a big celebration/party and have friends and family and Bachelor Nation there and call it a day.”
Another person asked Kaity about the biggest misconception about her relationship with Zach and she got candid with her response.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “Zach was labeled ‘boring’ because the season felt like a snooze fest, and although viewers said they wanted to see genuine love and real friendships, when that actually happened, it still wasn’t enough for them. Zach was upfront and had one clear goal — to find his person. He even told me on the Fantasy Suite that he had informed the executive producers before starting the show that he would walk away if he couldn’t see his future wife among those 30 women. You only saw a fraction of who Zach truly is, and that’s okay.”
Kaity continued on, saying, “The man you witnessed is a stand-up guy-smart, sweet, goofy, athletic, compassionate, loyal, and most importantly, human. While some people need physical intimacy to progress a relationship, I didn’t; he followed his heart throughout the season. With so many incredible women in front of him, it would have been nearly impossible for anyone to pick their forever in just two months!
“At the end of the day, you wanted to see more successful couples from ‘The Bachelor’ franchise. Well we have a true winner here and I can’t wait for the day I get to officially call him my husband and the father of my children!”
Speaking of all the incredible women, another fan asked Kaity what it’s like to know that Zach dated so many of her friends.
She laughed and said, “What can I say, they guy has great taste in women.”
