Congrats to their growing family!
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk got engaged on Season 22 of “The Bachelor.”
Less than a year after announcing their engagement at the end of “The Bachelor” Season 22, the pair wed at Maui’s Haiku Mill in a breathtaking ceremony.
Since then, they’ve welcomed three children: Alessi and twins Senna and Lux.
If you’ve been keeping up with the Luyendyk family, you know that Arie got a vasectomy and they said they were done having children.
But then, last month he revealed that he got his vasectomy reversed.
Now, the two just took to their YouTube channel to reveal that they are expecting baby number four!
In a new video, they shared that the vasectomy reversal was actually last summer and that they had been trying for another baby since then.
Arie said, “The vasectomy reversal was last summer and a lot has happened since then.”
Lauren chimed in and caught fans up with how the past few months have been for them.
She said, “We tried and tried and we were unsuccessful for a little bit and then we had a chemical pregnancy. I had never had a chemical pregnancy before, I thought that was it and I thought we were actually pregnant. I surprised Arie for the first time ever in a cute way because I always tell him right away because I can’t keep secrets.”
Lauren went on saying, “I made banana bread and I put a sign on the oven that said, ‘This ain’t the only bun in the oven.’ It was super cute. A few days later, that was over. So we took a month off and reset and we were ready to go again the next month. I was tracking my ovulation on this app I have.”
A couple months later, they decided to test again while their family was in Maui and despite having to go to multiple stores to find a pregnancy test, they finally found one, and it was positive!
Now the Luyendyk family is expecting their newest family member in September and we couldn’t be happier for them.
