In a follow-up video posted just days later, Kit shared, “So I wasn’t going to talk about this, but… yeah, something went a little sideways.” She revealed that she had developed excessive swelling on one side and was advised by her doctor to come in for a follow-up appointment immediately.
“It’s been a little scary,” she admitted, “but I’m trying to stay calm and trust the process.” She added that she’s grateful for her surgeon’s quick response and feels optimistic about her recovery, though it may take longer than initially expected.
Despite the hiccup, Kit has remained in good spirits, even joking with fans about the “welcome” sign her mom made for her. “At least I get top-tier recovery room service,” she laughed.
