The scales fall from Sienna’s eyes in Hollyoaks as she receives unexpected health news

Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is in for a shock in Hollyoaks next week as she receives her test results following a series of collapses.
The former high school teacher, as viewers know, was left reeling last month when she fell to the floor and was unable to get back up.
The incident occurred at the very moment she was about to set off on holiday with new flame Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin), excited about the prospect of some happiness.
Devastated, Sienna came to believe that the collapse was confirmation that she has motor neurone disease, unaware of the true reason behind her fall.
Fearing Sienna might divulge the murderous family secrets to her new lover, Martha (Sherrie Hewson) drugged her granddaughter.
Jez (Jeremy Sheffield) was livid when he uncovered his mother’s actions but, despite stern words, he later resorted to poisoning Sienna himself when he realised that her health setbacks would result in estranged son Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) staying put.
Unaware of Jez and Martha’s cruel actions, Sienna remains adamant that she has motor neurone disease and next week she heads to the hospital for more tests.
While there, she bumps into Cleo and the two begin to chat. Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart), who has accompanied Sienna for her appointment, spots the chemistry between the two women and urges her sister to take a chance on happiness.
Sienna is left with food for thought.

Upon realising her sister left her phone behind, Liberty sets off to retrieve the device but she’s left upset on Sienna’s behalf when she overhears Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) discussing with Cleo her former fear of Sienna, vowing to stay away from her.
The remains to be seen and, by the end of the week romance is the last thing on the florist’s mind as she returns to the hospital to pick up her results.

Seeing how nervous Sienna is, Peri risks her job by providing the results earlier than planned. Later, Sienna heads out of the hospital, struggling to get her head around what she’s learned.
Has she uncovered the truth behind her collapse?
