Hollyoaks’ Dodger to make major discovery as two characters return to the village
Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Dodger Savage will make a major discovery on Hollyoaks as two characters return to the village.
Dodger returned to the soap earlier this year as part of an undercover police operation, with the officer infiltrating Grace Black and Rex Gallagher’s criminal gang as he aimed to bring it down from the inside.
During his latest stint, Dodger has been torn between the requirements of his job and compassion for the victims of the gang, which has seen Frankie Osborne and Dillon Ray be regularly exploited.
Next week’s scenes begin with Dodger lending an ear to Darren, though he is soon shocked to discover that his good friend is Frankie’s father. Feeling overwhelmed, Dodger confides in his sister Sienna.
He shares that he’s struggling with the weight of expectation from both his employer as well as his own moral compass, admitting his sense of unease that the exploitation of kids is being allowed to continue for the sake of an undercover operation.
Towards the end of the week, Frankie and Dillon – who Grace sent away last month – return to the village and share they are clean from drugs, with the pair wishing to make a fresh start.
The duo aren’t the only characters to return to the village, however, with Kat Omari, who was supposedly taking care of the pair, appearing nervous as she lingers around a taxi; is there more than meets the eye?…
While Dodger and co are in the thick of the drama, the Channel 4 soap recently announced a special tour to commemorate its 30th anniversary, with fans having the chance to view unseen footage and meet various stars from the show.
“We’re delighted to partner with Maple Tree Entertainment and Lime Pictures to bring to life the iconic, vibrant world of Hollyoaks off-screen,” said Jason Easy, the VP of global licensing at All3Media, the company that owns Hollyoaks producer Lime Pictures.
