Hollyoaks is lining up a sad goodbye for Dillon Ray and Lucas Hay with a heartbreaking message.
Dillon returns to the village in today’s episode alongside Frankie Osborne, having been sent away by Grace Black while being exploited by her and Rex Gallagher’s criminal gang.
Until earlier this year, Dillon was in a relationship with Lucas, who recently learnt the devastating news that he has a brain tumour and needs to undergo a craniotomy, admitting he wants ex Dillon by his side.
In new scenes set to air next week, Dillon decides to book a dream holiday to Egypt for Lucas, which makes Rex and Ste grow worried, especially as he is planning to go abroad later that day with Dillon and Frankie.
Amid the scenes, a man named Ray – whom Grace had introduced to Frankie – collapses, with Rex using the opportunity to tell Dillon and Frankie to disappear for good amid a crisis of conscience.
Ste then pleads with Dillon to break Lucas’s heart again and not take him away, leading Dillon to leave a heartbreaking message for his ex.
Ste then attempts to comfort Lucas amid his distress, while the teenager then gets some comforting advice from an unlikely source – Myra.
