Hollyoaks has revealed that two characters have gone missing as Grace Black’s criminal gang is finally exposed.
Grace, with the help of half-brother Rex Gallagher and corrupt detective inspector Alistair Banks, has formed a criminal gang which has exploited several young people in the village, with Frankie Osborne and Dillon Ray the two to suffer the most.
Over the past week, the walls have closed in on the operation as Donny Clark – Dillon’s stepfather – discovered that his colleague Banks was a corrupt officer, with Rex also having a change of heart as he attempted to keep Frankie and Dillon safe.
Yesterday (12 May) saw Dillon attempt to make a getaway with Lucas Hay and Frankie as he booked a holiday to Egypt, though the plan falls through as Rex orders them all to leave the village for good instead of a brief trip.
In next week’s scenes, Darren becomes sceptical of Frankie’s holiday plans after he spots her passport in the house. He heads to undercover policeman Dodger and Rex, with the trio immediately worrying about her whereabouts.
Rex later confronts Grace, though she denies knowledge of Frankie and Dillon’s latest disappearance. After Rex pleads for her to come clean, a tearful Grace admits that she is in too deep and is fearful of Banks.
After hearing from Donny that the pair are safe, Darren – in the midst of a failing marriage – returns home to find a bruised and vulnerable Kat Omari begging for help. Despite harbouring understandable qualms, Nancy agrees to let her stay the night in the hope of finding Frankie.
The following morning, Kat confesses to Darren and Nancy that all the incidents in the previous months had been designed to cut Frankie off from her family. Dodger, meanwhile, informs Donny that they are closing in on Banks with some new evidence – what could it be?…
