Bachelor Nation fans got to know Sam Jeffries on Season 26 of “The Bachelor” and Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Recently, she took to her Instagram page to reveal that she underwent breast implant removal surgery and shared why.
Alongside photos from the hospital, Sam wrote, “Implant removal surgery this morning and I already feel lighter — physically, emotionally, spiritually 🤍Back in 2017, I found a lump that had to be removed. Then another showed up on a mammogram. Both were taken out. After the second surgery, I got implants because I had lost so much tissue I didn’t even recognize my body anymore.”
The Bachelor Nation star continued, “I was told only one implant was placed and that the other side had one temporarily but was removed because it looked too big. But recently, I found out there was still a small implant in there. That was a lot to process, but it honestly just confirmed that removing them was the right decision.”
She shared that she had been considering this surgery for over a year and that, “I had weird symptoms — pain, inflammation, brain fog — and just didn’t feel like myself.”
Sam shared that she is already feeling so much better and that her migraines and pain have subsided.
Sam put her post on her stories and said she hopes her sharing her story isn’t “TMI” and a fan replied, “Can’t be more than what you shared on ‘Bachelor in Paradise.’”
And Sam replied with the crying laughing emojis, writing, “FACTS!”
We’re glad Sam is healing well and we know that her sharing her story will help others.
We also love that she still has a sense of humor!
