Hollyoaks‘ Robbie Roscoe is set to face a deadly ultimatum next week as Clare Devine demands that he kill her sister Grace Black.
With Robbie torn in different directions, his big decision leads him towards a tense showdown with Grace – how will it unfold?
Robbie is still recovering in hospital following his traumatic ordeal at the hands of Grace. He is also grappling with guilt after hearing about his brother’s supposed death, even though viewers are aware that Freddie is alive and well.
While Darren Osborne begins to plan a memorial for Freddie next week, Robbie gets a hospital visit from none other than Clare, and he is left with a terrifying choice.
“Robbie has already been threatened by an associate of the Banks family,” our source says, “urging him not to tell the police about what happened while he was held captive. But this time Clare turns up herself and orders him to bump off her sister – or his own life will be at risk.”
Vicky Grant interrupts this sinister conversation and later asks Robbie to run away with her, showing him the stash of money belonging to Clare that she got her hands on.
When Robbie is discharged from hospital, Freddie’s memorial puts a stop to his and Vicky’s escape plan. Darren explains that the police have now ended their search for Freddie, sending shockwaves through the village.
Grace turns up at the memorial uninvited, leading to a tense confrontation with old rival Mercedes McQueen. Meanwhile, Robbie’s PTSD worsens, but Vicky is there to support him, and the pair leave the event together.
However, Robbie then comes to a decision, and behind Vicky’s back, he sends Clare a message and agrees to their murderous plan.
“Grace is completely oblivious to what Clare has planned,” explains our insider. “She thinks she is on better terms with her sister now, so prepares a special birthday surprise for her. But she doesn’t realise that Clare is getting ready to deliver a deadly gift of her own.”
Clare puts the wheels into motion and meets Robbie at The Loft, handing him a gun and keys to Grace’s flat.
Grace later returns home and finds Robbie armed and ready for revenge. But will he be able to follow Clare’s orders, or has he underestimated his nemesis?
