Bachelor Nation fans watched as Jenn Tran searched for love on Season 21 of “The Bachelorette.”
And as we learned on Joey Graziadei’s season of “The Bachelor,” Jenn had been in school pursuing her dream of becoming a physician’s assistant.
The former Bachelorette has been very open about wanting to go back to school, but had to take a break due to conflicting schedules with “The Bachelorette” and “Dancing with the Stars.”
However, earlier this year, she moved back to Miami to continue her studies and just now shared that she’s only nine months away from graduating!
In a new post on Instagram, she said, “I feel like the transition back to being a full-time student has not been easy whatsoever. And I feel like a lot of times people on here will be like, ‘Well, are you even studying? Are you even going to work?’ I don’t think people realize that I am a full-time student. I’m going to work every day, I’m seeing patients nine hours a day, sometimes more. It has not always been easy.”
Jenn continued, expanding more on her experience going back to school and the challenges it’s presented so far.
“That being said, it is very crazy to me that we’re six months in now,” she expressed, “I have really started to find my groove in health care. Things are just starting to finally click. Official update, I am about nine months away from graduation. I always like to think on the positive side of things, so I will never put it out in the universe that I wasn’t going to be able to do it. But I did it, we’re back, and we’re actually better than ever!”
The former Bachelorette then shared a lesson that she’s learned over the past six months.
“If you guys take anything away from my PA school journey, I really hope that it’s the hard moments that test you, these moments that challenge you, these are the moments that actually count. These are gonna be the moments that define you that shape who you become…These months have truly been so inspirational, and I’ve learned not only so much medical knowledge but just about healthcare in general. It’s been so rewarding working with patients, and I know I’m on the right path.”
We’re so proud of Jenn and all of her hard work in PA school. We love that she’s pursuing her dream of helping others and we can’t wait to see her graduate!
